It was a rough day...

 This is how we began.

Well, back that up....
We started out in Target with a near hysterical Macklyn.
I took her to the bathroom and changed her diaper...thinking that was the problem.
Nope.  She kept crying.
I started thinking, "well, maybe she's hungry again." {it had been about 1 1/2 hours since she had eaten}
So, we I put the things away that I had in my basket and we headed to the car.
{btw, Target should really build an area for nursing mommas}
I ate a couple of these YUMMY cookies that Macie made with the assistance of Lolli.
Macie waited patiently - just watching movies and finding random things she left in the car.
{that's when I took that cute pic of her above}
About 30 minutes or so later, we headed back into the store.
All was well until we walked in the doors.  Macklyn started crying again!

She's always been such a good shopper for me {as long as she's dry and has a full tummy}.
So out of character for her.

Again, I though "hmmm...maybe a dirty diaper?"

I took her to the bathroom again to change a wet diaper.
Thought problem is solved.

Nope.

She cried the entire 463 20 minutes we were in there.
Macie started crying at one point too because she wanted a toy.
She really needed a nap.
By this time, I had to duck into a shoe aisle to take a few deep breaths {and threaten Macie with all of her toys disappearing if she didn't stop her 4 year old tantrum}.

I couldn't even think of anything I needed and I went without a list.
I got home with diapers and I needed those, so that's one for me.

But anyway, I had a screaming baby the entire time......
and as soon as we walked out I had this.......
A peaceful 5 week old in the beautiful sunlight on this beautiful 80* day in March.
I guess she just didn't want to be all cooped up inside or something,
but I wish she loved Target as much as her sister and me.

This is the look I got from Macie through the window of the car when we were loading up to leave......
That little stinker was trying her best to boss me the entire time.

Oh, and I ruined my super cute flowy shirt that I wore for only the second time.
Stupid Target basket and your jagged edges.

So, to make a long story short........TODAY WAS TERRIBLE.
Maybe the worst yet in my life as a mom of two {so far, I know there WILL be worse}.

I just finished my homework now at 10:30 pm and am ready to turn in.
I should go to sleep, but reading The Hunger Games is a bigger priority.
I'll just be lazy all day tomorrow.....maybe.
