New Living Room!!!

We've had a very busy past few weeks, but my wonderful Chris has taken the time to install new floors in our living room. I did most of the painting, except at the top by the ceiling, but I would say Chris had the hard job with the floors. They look absolutely amazing! Slowly, but surely, our house is becoming OURS. Next, we will redo the kitchen but that won't be for a while. I am going to enjoy my living room for now! Here are a few pictures of the results!

She Likes To Brush Her OWN Teeth!

I have had the hardest time with Macie letting me brush her teeth, but she sure does like to brush them herself. I have to let her brush on her own for a little bit, then she will let me take over to do the REAL brushing.

Macie's 2nd Easter!

Well, we got through another Easter. Except this year Macie could run around and play! She had a wonderful time with all of our family and got LOTS of candy that she did not need!

And our final Easter trip was to Bridgeport. We were at Chris' Aunt Sheri and Uncle Kevin's house. Macie had a good time, but I think she was finally tired of running around all weekend!

We enjoyed seeing all of our family...it was a very wonderful weekend with everyone!!!

For the past month, Macie hasn't been wanting to sleep in her crib. In fact, I guess it is so bad that she decided to climb out. I was doing homework one evening and all of the sudden heard a 'clunk' and footsteps in her room so I opened the door and there she was walking toward me. So...I'm thinking it is probably time for a toddler bed since the crib is on its lowest setting. Wow, my baby is growing up waaayyy too fast! A TODDLER bed ALREADY!

Well, I have been so exhausted lately from going to school and running around chasing after a 15 month old and Macie sleeping in our bed with us is not helping. So, I decided to try again with the crib and last night she slept in there until 7:15 this morning. After I brought her into our room then, she slept another 2 hours with me. I felt rejuvenated! I got 8 hours of sleep. I really don't know what to do with myself today with all this energy HAHA. I'm sure not a whole lot, considering it is raining. Maybe a little homework...UGH.
